western culture vs korean culture

The blue part represents western culture while the red part represents korean culture

1. Opinion

Everyone who has asked a Korean a direct yes or no question and heard "may be" will understand this one

2. The way of life

this will speaks for itself.Individualism is something that its hard for many Koreans to understand

3.Anger

I've seen Koreans shows their anger before, but for the most part, the norm is to hide displeasure especially with superiors

4. punctuality
I havnt had punctuality problems with most koreans. Koreans as pretty puntual in experience.

Sydney International food festival : food flag ads

Sydney international food fetival will held in 10th of October. This advertisement attracted to me. I was thinking that this ads are quit effective due to the way they represent food with national flag.

Inspiration one- moleskine scrap book

I have got inspiration from this video clip. This small moleskine note repesents one designer's identity. I can feel designer's philosophy and style. I could also learn the way to scrap the ideas.

Ross Lovegrove.. I do not understant what did he write in the moleskine but I can see what he trying to say through his drawing. his natural form has been developed and it creates great design which every people could understand.

Project 3: Treasuring TIme

Wedding moment is the most precious moment of everyone's life(married couples).
My design is for capturing the moment of wedding.
This is the another way of guest book.

The main concept of my design:
1. Guests of wedding write some well-wising remarks to bride and groom.
2. After writing message, guests are making the cone shape and stick into inner hole. ( the message paper has little snap so that it is easy to make cone shape and stick (it is not falling out from inner hole))
3. After gathering everyone's message it becomes a one sphere shape of hanging decoration. (if electronics are allow, I will make it as a hanging light).
4.Bride and Groom receive this after their honeymoon. they will keep this for a long time and they will celebrate every wedding anniversary.
5. Whenever couples want to remember their wedding moment, they read the each message and memories and remind that wedding moment.

Materials: Plastic paper( It can not tear easily)
Colour: White( symbol of pure)
